Stopped
The next day I went over to my friend Daniel’s house for his birthday party. He was turning 13. We were going to go see a movie then come back to his house for a sleepover. I pulled up to his house and when I walked in, all of our friends were there. I knew that it was going to be a good party. We had to wait for his parents to get ready before we left. But then I remembered that I left my sleeping bag at my house so I had to have my dad bring it after we saw the movie. We were going to see Central Intelligence. We had to wait for his parents in Daniel’s room. We sat in his room and played NBA 2k16 on his PS4.
It was a good movie. We came back to his house and my dad still hadn’t dropped off my sleeping bag. I wondered why he took so long. Then after we played the game for a couple of hours his parents told everybody to start getting ready for bed. I couldn’t get ready for bed because I didn’t have my sleeping bag. Then we heard a knock at the door. We looked out the window and saw that it was my dad. We opened the door and I asked what took him so long.
He said that it took him so long but a policeman pulled him over because he had to go through a checkpoint and my dad told the officer that he had a license to carry a gun. The officer told him to move his car to the side so they could check his car for the gun. He said that they found the gun in his trunk and that they told him to give them his gun license. So he went to go get it from the glove compartment and they took his gun license and his driver’s license to the squad car. He said that they said that he checked out. He told us that he could’ve said that they couldn’t search his car but he wanted to hurry up and give me my sleeping bag and that he complied with everything that they said exactly when to said it to not start anything.
